Not to be vain, but I have really good taste in music (my fair opinion!).
Most of the songs here will probably be quite sad/angry/angsty, but the ’90s-2000s are my favorite era anyway, so what better time to revisit some good, beautiful – yet deeply gloomy – music than during a prolonged mental health crisis?
Sometimes I feel like I really need sad or angry music, to accompany—or even amplify—my feelings, to immerse me in them, to experience them fully and then, with greater awareness and a little more balance, even just a little, I lift myself up.
Not everything will be so dark; in fact, there are times when I think it’s more helpful to listen to something to calm down and breathe in some light and fresh vibes.
Each one is a masterpiece.
